Summary of the Second Day of our Gathering

The second day of our leadership training meeting was insightful and enriching. During the morning sessions, we delved into the theme of leadership within various contexts. Our presenters provided a wealth of information, offering diverse perspectives and experiences that broadened our understanding. We participated in group discussions, which were instrumental in deepening our comprehension of how leadership manifests in different settings. These exchanges fostered a collaborative learning environment, allowing us to share insights and reflect on our personal leadership journeys.

In the afternoon, our focus shifted to exploring the distinction between a dream and a vision. This session was particularly enlightening as it clarified how both elements are integral to effective leadership. Additionally, we examined different models of leadership, analyzing their applicability and effectiveness in various scenarios. This exploration equipped us with a broader toolkit to approach leadership challenges and opportunities in our respective roles.

Overall, the second day of our training was a blend of learning, reflection, and spiritual growth, empowering us to become more effective leaders within our communities.

The day concluded with a spiritually uplifting Eucharistic celebration. This sacred ceremony was led by Fr. Tamene Asaro Safato, the Regional Superior of the Consolata Missionaries (IMC) in Ethiopia.
