Leadership Training for the Holy Spirit Region
From March 23rd to 26th, the Holy Spirit Region is hosting Leadership Training for sisters and Lay collaborators. The event is taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, under the guidance of Sisters Imma De Stefanis and Reyna Gonzalez of the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (RSCJ).
The theme for the first day of training focused on exploring personal leadership styles. Participants were encouraged to reflect on how great leaders are formed and defined through their leadership. This introspective journey allowed attendees to assess their own leadership qualities and consider the impact they have on those around them.
The day featured engaging group discussions that facilitated a deeper understanding of leadership dynamics. Participants engaged in a larger group activity designed to underscore the importance of cooperation and collaboration. This activity highlighted that effective leadership often requires working harmoniously with others to achieve common goals.
The first day of the Leadership Training in Addis Ababa was marked by meaningful reflection, collaborative activities, and spiritual enrichment, setting a positive tone for the days to follow.
The day concluded with a Eucharistic celebration, adding a spiritual dimension to the day's events. This celebration was presided over by Bishop Tesfaye Tadesse Gebresilasie, MCCJ, the Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Addis Ababa.
