Celebrating Consecrated Life

On the 1st of February, Sr. Alemenesh Otoro joined the Conference of Major Religious Superiors (CMRS) in a heartfelt gathering. The event was a moment to celebrate and express gratitude for the gift of their consecrated life. The atmosphere was filled with joy and reflection as participants shared in the unity of their spiritual commitment.

The 2nd of February marked the official Day of Consecrated Life, coinciding with the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. Sr. Shitaye Esayas, along with the little daughters of St. Joseph, Scalabrinian priest, and the new parish priest, gathered in our chapel in Dzaipe, Uganda for this special commemoration. The day was filled with prayers, songs, and a sense of community, honoring the dedication and service of those in consecrated life.

On the 7th of February, Sr. Suany Oliveira and Sr. Aynalem Paulos participated in another significant celebration, joining religious men and women of Manzini. This occasion took place at St. John Bosco Parish in Markens. The gathering highlighted the shared mission and devotion of those in consecrated life, fostering a spirit of solidarity and mutual support within the community.
