Renewal of Vows
The renewal of vows is a significant and spiritual milestone in the lives of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the same way as it is in other religious congregations. It is a reaffirmation of temporary professed members of their commitment to their religious communities and their faith. Recently, two of our junior sisters from the Holy Spirit Region celebrated this important occasion.

On January 24th, Sr. Evarlyne Ndeti renewed her vows in Dubbo, Ethiopia. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Sr. Barbara Staley, the regional superior of the Holy Spirit Region and the community members from Dubbo, Sadama and Walacha communities. This momentous event marked another step in Sr. Evarlyne's religious journey, highlighting her dedication to her vocation.
On February 2nd, Sr. Tigist Hailemariam renewed her vows in Brazil. She was joined by Sr. Rosa De Lima Soares, the provincial superior of St. Frances Cabrini Province, and her community members Sr. Lucia Cosme and Sr.Rosinha Assato who witnessed this sacred commitment. Sr. Tigist's renewal was a attestation of her devotion and her continued service to God.
As these two junior sisters continue their journey, it is important for the community to support them through prayers and encouragement. Their renewed vows symbolize both a personal and communal celebration of faith, commitment, and service. Let us keep both Sr. Evarlyne Ndeti and Sr. Tigist Hailemariam in our thoughts and prayers as they continue to embrace their paths with grace and dedication.
