Outreach Visit to Our Lady of Assumption in Homa, Ethiopia

On September 7th, Sr. Amarech Lefamo , Sr. Evarlyne Ndeti and Br. Eshetu Peter(a seminarian serving in St. Anne Parish) undertook a meaningful outreach visit to a nearby parish of Our Lady of Assumption in Homa. This visit aimed at engaging in vocational animation and deepening the connection with the parishioners.

During the visit, Sr. Amarech had the wonderful opportunity to share with the congregation about our mission and the work we are doing in Sadama. After Mass, a delightful group of boys and girls approached us, eager to learn more. We spent a joyous time in their company, sharing stories and answering questions. Their enthusiasm and curiosity were truly refreshing and reminded us of the importance of guiding the next generation in their discernment journey.

Before parting ways, we promised these young individuals our unwavering support through prayers as they continue with their discernment process. This promise signifies our commitment to accompanying them on their path, offering guidance and encouragement as they explore their vocations. The visit to Our Lady of Assumption was not only a chance to reach out but also a reminder of the profound connections that can be formed through shared faith and purpose
