English Summer Classes in Sadama, Ethiopia

This summer, Sr. Addise Agago embarked on a heartwarming journey to teach English to the children of Sadama. Her English classes, which last for an hour each day, provide students not only with the opportunity to learn a new language but also to connect and play with one another.

Sr. Addise was fortunate to have the support of Catherine Mutua, one of our postulants, who assisted her for three weeks. Catherine's presence brought an additional layer of support and motivation to the classroom, making the learning environment even more dynamic and engaging.

The eagerness of the children to learn English is truly inspiring. They are consistently punctual, attentive, and exhibit a genuine willingness to learn each day. Their enthusiasm is a testament to the power of education and its ability to ignite curiosity and foster new opportunities.

Beyond the academic lessons, these classes serve as a crucial platform for the children to build friendships and social skills. The interactions during and after class help to strengthen community bonds, creating a supportive and inclusive environment that benefits everyone involved.
