Our Sisters in Ethiopia embracing their Missionary Call
Mother Cabrini once wrote, "I will go anywhere and do anything in order to communicate the love of Jesus to those who do not know Him or have forgotten Him." This powerful message continues to inspire us MSCs especially when we send in a new mission. It is a call to action, a reminder of the commitment and courage required to spread love of Christ to all.
Just last week, three of our sisters followed the footsteps of Mother Cabrini with open hearts and unwavering faith. Their willingness to embrace change in the name of love and service is a testament to their missionary dedication.
Sr. Addise Agago was in Wallacha, now she is in Sadama. Her journey is one of hope and new beginnings, as she continues to touch the lives of those, she will meet in her new mission. Sr. Shitaye Esayas is embarking on a new chapter as she moves from Dzaipi, Uganda to Dubbo, Ethiopia. Her spirit of service continues to shine brightly, as she brings her wisdom and kindness to a new community. Sr. Tigist Hailemariam’s journey takes her back to Wallacha, after a period of service in Brazil. Her return is filled with anticipation and joy as she reconnects with familiar faces and continues her work of spreading God's love.
As our sisters embark on these new missions, let us keep them in our thoughts and prayers. May their paths be filled with grace, and may they find strength and peace in their mission to share the love of Jesus. Together, in our own ways, we can support them by embracing the spirit of Mother Cabrini's words, going anywhere and doing anything to spread love and kindness to all.
