The Feast of St. Anne, a cherished tradition, was joyously celebrated on July 26th, 2026. Our Sisters from Sadama joined the parishioners of St. Anne Parish to commemorate this significant day.
The event was graced by the presence of Fr. Zemede Ashebo of the vicariate of Hossana, a guest priest from a nearby parish, who served as the main celebrant. He was accompanied by Fr. Gezeign Mancha and Fr. Tarekegn Yohanes, both current and former parish priests of St. Anne's Parish, who co-celebrated the Mass.
During his homily, Fr. Zemede spoke eloquently about St. Anne, highlighting her virtues and the exemplary life she led. He encouraged everyone present to emulate St. Anne's good example, emphasizing the importance of faith, perseverance, and compassion.
The Feast of St. Anne concluded on a joyful note, with a shared meal that fostered a sense of community and togetherness among the parishioners and guests. The celebration ended with a group picture, capturing the joyful spirit and unity of the day.
